In plain terms
An affiliate link is a normal product or service link with tracking attached. If you click it and decide to buy, the retailer may pay me a commission. The price you pay stays the same whether you use an affiliate link or go to the retailer directly.
EDP Association is a Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 help site. I publish practical how-tos, fixes for common errors, and plain-language tutorials for Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote. Sometimes I may include links to tools, books, or other resources that fit those topics.
How this does — and does not — shape the site
Affiliate commissions do not decide what I recommend. I base recommendations on things like features, fit for the task, and common problems readers are trying to solve. I do not treat products as paid placements just because a commission is available.
If something is a poor fit, I say so. A link being monetized does not change that. My goal is to keep the advice useful, clear, and honest.
