Who writes this site
EDP Association is a one-person site run by me, Sarah Mitchell. I write the articles published here. The site focuses on Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 help: Excel formulas and features, Word, Outlook email and calendar, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote. My aim is simple: practical how-tos, fixes for common errors, and plain-language tutorials for work and study.
How articles are made
I start with the real questions people search for and the problems they are trying to solve. From there, I check steps, settings, and specifications against official documentation and manufacturer sources before I publish. I write instructions in plain language and keep them as clear and step-by-step as possible.
Where something can change by app version, account type, device, or product model, I say so. If a screenshot or image helps make a step easier to follow, I include one. If it does not add anything useful, I leave it out.
What this site will not do
- No paid placements disguised as advice. If affiliate links appear, that does not change what I write. You can read more at affiliate disclosure page.
- No invented test results. I do not publish made-up outcomes, claims, or comparisons.
- No fake reviews. I do not present promotional copy as independent editorial advice.
Updates
Software and product interfaces change, so articles are revisited when Microsoft 365 apps, Office features, or related products change. The Updated date on each article reflects when that page was last revised.
Corrections
If you spot an error, you can report it by emailing [email protected] or by using the Contact page. I review correction reports, fix verified mistakes, and update the article date when a correction is made.
